SUBMISSION PROCESS CRITERIA |
| |
 |
FERC 2010 uses the abstract/poster format for all of its research submissions and presentations. Submissions may be completed research, theoretical contributions, works in progress, or proposed research projects looking for collaborators. Quantitative and qualitative submissions are equally welcome. All submitted initial abstracts, posters, and extended 5 page abstracts will be evaluated on the following evaluation criteria: Clarity in the research question, extensive conceptual development, relevant literature review, appropriate research methods for the nature of the study, excellent writing and organization, and relevance for practice by policy makers, family firms, and/or family firm advisors.
Abstracts can be submitted on any topic within the research realm of family business, but authors are encouraged to develop proposals related to the theme of this year's meeting, "Trust and Relax". Authors are encouraged to focus on the direct implication of their research to families in business, policy makers, and/or family business advisors. Submissions based on dissertation research should be noted as such and the doctoral student identified in the submission. |
