Opening of the Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and Administration

First generation of the School of Sports Sciences

On December 5, the opening of the Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management and Administration took place, which will open from August 2013.

The event was enhanced by the presence of the sponsors: Nelson Vargas Basáñez, former president of CONADE and 2012 National Sports Promotion Award; John Sutcliffe Guido (Business Administration, Gen. '91), ESPN host; and Ricardo “Finito” López Nava, continental champion of the World Boxing Council and the World Boxing Organization.

In addition to the godparents, who offered emotional speeches, we had the presence of sports authorities and personalities, such as Iridia Salazar Blanco, National Sports Award winner and Olympic medalist; Velibor “Bora” Milutinovic, international footballer and coach; Carlos Hernández Shafler, president of the Mexican Olympic Academy; Zulina “La Loba” Muñoz, universal champion of the World Boxing Council; José Peláez Ampudia, National Sports Award 2012; and Roberto Hernández García, president of the Mexican Karate Do Federation.

Our Olympic students were also present: Isaac and Ever Palma Olivares marchers (Gastronomy 7th semester and Business Administration 3rd semester); Diego García de León taekwondoin (Actuary 7th semester) and Karla Dueñas Pedraza (Business Administration, gen. '12) and Olympic athlete.
