The Anahuac boosts internationalization hand in hand with FIMPES

The Universidad Vasco de Quiroga, together with the Universidad Latina de América celebrated the 1st Congress of the Internationalization Commission of the Federation of Private Mexican Institutions of Higher Education (FIMPES) in the city of Morelia, Michoacan. The Internationalization Directorate of the Universidad Anahuac Mexico attended this congress.

It must be said that this first congress is meant to support the development and increase in the internationalization capacities and academic collaboration of higher education institutions.

The active participation of our Institution in the federation allows consolidating the presence of the Anahuac, fostering national student mobility and sharing good practices for internationalization processes: academic exchanges, double degrees, professional practices, internationalization of the curriculum, among others.

During the congress, emphasis was made on the need of Mexican universities to promote internationalization for their positioning, and as a contribution to improve the image of Mexico worldwide, through higher education institutions of quality in an international context requiring greater interconnection.

The Universidad Anahuac Mexico joins to this effort, and aims at consolidating internationalization efforts and get all members of the University Community to develop an actual global competency.
