Ana Corina Ballout shared her experience during her visit, highlighting the importance of offering young Venezuelans the opportunity to continue their studies abroad.
Ana Corina Ballout Hernández, a medical intern in the social service at CADEBI, along with a team of pre-university advisors from Universidad Anáhuac México, visited Venezuela to provide information about the academic and training opportunities the university offers, sharing her personal experience as a Venezuelan who migrated to Mexico in search of a professional future.
During two weeks in April, MPSS Ana Corina Ballout Hernández, who collaborates with CADEBI, along with a team of pre-university advisors from Universidad Anáhuac México, visited several cities in Venezuela to promote the educational opportunities the institution offers to young Venezuelans. This initiative aimed to provide students with the possibility of accessing quality education in Mexico, preparing them to become leaders of positive action.
The pre-university advisory team was composed of Carlos Maqueo Vicencio, Pre-University Advisor from Universidad Anáhuac Norte; Rodrigo Lizárraga Montaño and José Manuel Gómez Castañeda, Pre-University Advisors from Universidad Anáhuac Puebla; and Ana Corina Ballout Hernández, a medical intern in social service at CADEBI, Universidad Anáhuac Norte. During their visit, the group visited 19 schools in Caracas and one in Maracay, where they held informational talks for students and parents about the academic offerings, costs, accommodation, university life, and other relevant topics for those seeking to study in Mexico.
One of the main motivations for this trip was to offer Venezuelan youth the opportunity to study at an internationally renowned university, allowing them to receive a comprehensive education that would prepare them for the challenges of the future. Event organizers also highlighted the opportunity to belong to an academic community that not only offers top-tier education but also fosters personal and professional development for its students.
Ana Corina Ballout shared her personal experience during the event, emphasizing the importance of offering young Venezuelans the opportunity to continue their studies abroad. As a Venezuelan, Ballout understood firsthand the challenges of emigrating in search of a better future and highlighted how her adaptation to Mexico, like many other students, represents an invaluable opportunity for personal and professional growth. In her words, "Although taking that step is not easy, doing so in Mexico and with the support of an institution like Universidad Anáhuac can be one of the best decisions for your children."
The visit also provided an opportunity to strengthen the relationship with students' parents, who were able to resolve their concerns and receive key information about the enrollment process and the benefits of studying at a foreign university. The positive response and the students' interest in the opportunities that were opening up to them were especially motivating for the team.
This trip was not only a promotional activity but also a platform to inspire and motivate young Venezuelans to fight for their dreams. With the right support and personal commitment, they were reminded that it is possible to overcome adversity and build a better future.
Special recognition is given to the important support received from Carlos Maqueo and Juan Carlos Martí in making this experience possible, as well as to the entire CADEBI team for their support during the process.
