The medical interns of the CADEBI Social Service, Pía Canal and Daniela Crane, presented their research projects at the conference held at the Anahuac University Merida, that brought together students and academics from the Anahuac University Network.
From October 26th to 28th 2023, the IV International Congress of Medicine “Children's health as a model for the medicine of the future” was held at the Anahuac University Merida, an event that brought together medical students and academics from the campuses of the Anahuac University Network (RUA).
In this space, talks, conferences, workshops and presentations on different topics were given, allowing attendees to share experiences and knowledge about their field and daily clinical practice.
The presentations were focused on Pediatrics through topics such as Pediatric Oncology, Pediatric Neurology, Retinopathy of Prematurity, Transplantation in Pediatrics, Trauma to the Brain in Pediatrics, among others.
The medical interns of the Social Service of the Anáhuac Center for Strategic Development in Bioethics (CADEBI), each gave a presentation in this section of the three-day congress: Pía Canal, with her work on “Bioethical implications of normothermic regional reperfusion”, and Daniela Crane, who presented the “Systematic review and bioethical analysis of the history of in vitro fertilization.”
