
This appointment, made during the 13th International Congress on Ethics Education in India, consolidates Anáhuac University Mexico's international leadership in the field of bioethics and ethics education.
Dr. David Cerdio Domínguez, member of the Anáhuac Center for Bioethics Research (CADEBI) and associate researcher at the School of Bioethics at Universidad Anáhuac México, has been appointed as the Latin America representative of the International Association for Education in Ethics (IAEE). This appointment was announced during the 13th IAEE International Conference on Ethics Education, held at St. John’s University (National Health Academy of Sciences) in Bengaluru, India, from June 12 to 14, 2025.
Dr. Cerdio Domínguez’s participation in this international event reaffirms Universidad Anáhuac México’s commitment to promoting person-centered bioethics and advancing ethics education on a global scale.
The conference, which brought together experts from around the world, focused on ethics education for future generations. Over the course of three days, key presentations addressed topics such as human rights and ethics education, challenges in training healthcare professionals, the ethical implications of technological development, and a comparative analysis of ethics education in Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia.
With this new responsibility, Universidad Anáhuac México, through its School of Bioethics and CADEBI, strengthens its commitment to collaborating with international organizations to promote a bioethical culture grounded in the dignity of the human person.
