Patricia Hernández participates in the Anniversary Conference of the Regional Hospital of Toluca

The theme of the event was "Health care with humanism", and Patricia Hernández addressed a necessary topic for all hospital personnel: mental health.

The Government of the State of Mexico, through the Ministry of Finance and the Institute of Social Security of the State of Mexico and Municipalities, held from June 21 to 23 the 9th Anniversary Conference of the Regional Hospital of Toluca and the Consultation Clinic External “A”: Health care with humanism”, aimed at doctors, nursing staff, social workers and health in general.

Martha Patricia Hernández Valdez, coordinator of the Master's in Bioethics Online, shared a presentation on emotional management in health personnel, and shared that "within the framework of this event, the issue of emotional management in personnel was discussed where the topic of emotional intelligence, crisis intervention and self-care strategies for all hospital staff were addressed. Some stressful events that cause burnout, depression and anxiety were also analyzed, emphasizing the importance of an interdisciplinary analysis and psychotherapeutic containment for everyone.”
