The School of Bioethics participates in an Innovative Simulation Course

Simulation Course

Our director, José Alberto Castilla, highlights: "Simulation is key to bringing bioethics to real life."

During November 21, 22 and 24, the School of Bioethics actively participated in the Basic Simulation Instructors Course, held at the Anáhuac Experiential Learning Center, located on the South Campus. The main focus of the course was to acquire knowledge about the effective use of simulators for practice in the health field at the CASIC (Anáhuac Center for Clinical Simulation). Faculty members collaborated in the creation of bioethical scenarios, designed to extrapolate this learning and enrich the training of future bioethicists.

The goal is to implement these simulated practices within the academic programs offered by the faculty, with the aim of becoming the first Bioethics Center that integrates simulation as a fundamental part of its study plan. Our future plans include the creation of a second course focused on "debriefing" and the publication of publications in the journal "Medicine and Ethics" addressing the topic of bioethics and its influence on medical simulation.

The Anáhuac Experiential Learning Center, dedicated to the comprehensive training of students from the Anáhuac Community, has Multidisciplinary Laboratories for Health Sciences and the Anáhuac Center for Clinical Simulation.

We express our gratitude to the School of Health Sciences for their invaluable teamwork and collaborative synergy.
