
The academic from the Anáhuac University of Mexico, based her intervention on three methodologies: principlism, casuistry and Diego Gracia, in this course organized by the Ministry of Health and the National Bioethics Commission.
From June 17 to 26, 2025, Dr. María Elizabeth de los Ríos Uriarte participated as a speaker in the Course-Workshop "Case Analysis with Bioethical Methodologies," organized by the Ministry of Health and the National Bioethics Commission, aimed at members of hospital committees throughout the country.
During the closing session, Dr. de los Ríos taught this workshop based on three methodologies: principlism, casuistry, and Diego Gracia, in which she addressed specific cases to apply the bioethical approaches studied during the course.
This event was aimed at State Bioethics Commissions and members of Hospital Bioethics Committees, with the goal of strengthening their capacities for ethical analysis of cases in the fields of health, education, and other related areas.
Through virtual sessions, renowned specialists such as Dr. Jennifer Hincapié, Dr. Eduardo Farías Trujillo, and Dr. Jorge Alberto Álvarez Díaz participated.
At Anáhuac University Mexico, we celebrate the participation of Dr. de los Ríos, whose experience strengthens bioethics in our country and contributes to more ethical, responsible, and humane professional practices for the benefit of society.
