On September 23, 2025, the conference "Ethics in the Use of Artificial Intelligence" was held, given by Dr. María Elizabeth de los Ríos Uriarte, a professor at the School of Bioethics at Anáhuac University, Mexico.
The event, broadcast live on Zoom and on Facebook Live via the blog of the Intercongregational Theological Formation Institute of Mexico (IFTIM), brought together a broad audience interested in the ethical challenges posed by the incorporation of artificial intelligence into everyday life, science, and medicine.
Dr. de los Ríos Uriarte emphasized the importance of promoting responsible technological development centered on human dignity and the common good. She also emphasized that digital progress must be accompanied by a solid ethical framework that guarantees the rational and fair use of these tools.
The IFTIM thanked the speaker for her participation and highlighted the strong community attendance, emphasizing that these types of spaces strengthen interdisciplinary dialogue around contemporary challenges.
