On September 23 and 24, 2025, the 19th National Bioethics Meeting was held in the Auditorium of the Toluca Regional Hospital (ISSEMyM) as part of the 20th anniversary of this academic forum. Under the theme "Bioethics as a link between science, education, and health for a sustainable future," the meeting brought together specialists, academics, health professionals, and students from across the country to reflect on current and future ethical challenges.

During the event, the School of Bioethics at Anáhuac University Mexico had a prominent participation through Dr. Martha Patricia Hernández Valdez, coordinator of the online Master's in Bioethics Studies, who participated in the intergenerational discussion "How do we teach autonomy, justice, and solidarity?" In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of transmitting values that guide medical practice and professional training, such as human dignity, social justice, and solidarity.

Likewise, Dr. María Elizabeth de los Ríos Uriarte, research coordinator at the School of Bioethics, presented a presentation entitled "Bioethics Training Through Simulation as a Pedagogical Strategy" alongside Dr. Ariana Cerón Apipilhuasco, coordinator of the Anáhuac Center for Clinical Simulation. Their presentation was recognized for its innovative approach in showing how simulation contributes to strengthening ethical decision-making in educational and clinical settings.

The program also included lectures and workshops on genomics, artificial intelligence, the ethics of care, responsible parenthood, as well as methodologies for bioethical argumentation and the ethical evaluation of scientific projects. These spaces fostered the practical application of knowledge and interdisciplinary dialogue.

The 19th National Bioethics Meeting reaffirmed its role as a national benchmark, consolidating two decades of work promoting ethical reflection in the face of scientific and technological advances. The participation of the School of Bioethics reflected its commitment to training leaders capable of integrating science and ethics to build a more humane, just, and sustainable future.
