Introduction to Spanish and Mexican culture

Beginner Spanish practice:

Pronunciation practice. Descriptions and exercises that promote the ability to perceive and disseminate new sounds for students who do not speak Spanish.

Review the practice and use of basic concepts such as syllables, nationalities, numbers, colors, moods and vocabulary of clothing, textures, body parts and professions.

The student will be able to express basic communication needs and interact in a simple and direct way by exchanging information about activities and daily affairs. You will become familiar with the basic vocabulary and be able to describe people, places and objects.

Linguistic Objective:

Express the most relevant contents of each unit as they are; greetings and presentations, vocabulary of materials and textures, home furnishings, seasons, public places, professions and transport.

Certification:

At the end of the course the student will present the SIELE certification exam

The student can communicate routine tasks using basic courtesy formulas. You can exchange information about travel, accommodation, meals and shopping.

Spanish 1 and Spanish 2:

The program is designed based on the CEFR to work on listening comprehension.

Oral expression using the simple future, past simple and present perfect; use of adjectives, connectors, opinions and short stories.

Certification:

At the end of the course the student will present the SIELE certification exam

The student will expand his vocabulary to deal with issues related to family, work, travel and current and past events, as well as to give information about plans. Produce a brief oral or written speech, describe and narrate facts and experiences.

The program is designed based on the CEFR to work reading comprehension.

SPANISH 4

SPANISH 4

The student can produce simple descriptions of daily and current topics. Participate in dialogues and debates that express opinions and preferences, agreements and disagreements.

Spanish practice 4:

This course will extend the use of English learned in the first level. Practice of: modal verbs, conditional structures, imperatives and other linguistic structures. The student may express judgments or certainties, preferences, orders, suggestions, condition, opinions and perceptions, etc.

Practice of direct and indirect objects, conditions, advertising and colloquialisms.

The student will strive to make clear descriptions, express emotions and views on general issues.

The program is designed from CEFR to work mainly in written production.
