On November 1st, 2020, the Law School signed the general collaboration agreement with the University of Houston and its Law Center. In this agreement, both institutions compromise to generate multiple linking projects, strengthen student and teacher academic exchange, implement various scholarly activities, and promote research work.

Within the framework of the said agreement and as the inaugural event of the January - May 2021 semester, on January 29th, the workshop on immigration law "Migration in times of Covid 19: Asylum and beyond" was held, the first event jointly organized. In this event, there was outstanding participation of the speaker Ira Kurzban, a lawyer specializing in immigration law and civil rights in the United States.

Among future projects, the so-called "5 + 1 Program" is in process. The purpose of this program is to open the doors so that our students can practice their profession in the United States by studying for a postgraduate degree that enables them to take the Texas Bar Exam and practice their career in Mexico and Texas.

With these types of actions, we express our commitment to our academic community to continue strengthening the positive action leadership of the lawyers of Universidad Anáhuac México.
