The Ibero-American Interactive Atlas of Bioethics is now available in open access

The Ibero-American Interactive Atlas of Bioethics is now open to the public free of charge. This virtual tool provides free access to more than 560 records related to institutions, associations, national commissions, academic programs, and periodicals specializing in bioethics. In this way, the Atlas consolidates itself as an interdisciplinary meeting place, fostering dialogue, the exchange of knowledge, and collaboration among key players in the field of bioethics in the Ibero-American region.

BINCA: research, dialogue, and collaboration to promote bioethics

The BINCA Project (Bioethics in Research and Applied Clinical Practice) offers an interdisciplinary platform that fosters ethical reflection in the medical and scientific fields through collaborative research and dialogue. Its main initiatives include the Journal Club, a space for critical analysis of relevant scientific articles, and Food for the Brain, a monthly lecture series on current topics in bioethics that promotes lifelong learning. In addition, BINCA promotes collaborative research projects focused on the most relevant ethical dilemmas in contemporary medical practice.

Conference ''10 Years After Laudato Si': From Integral Ecology to Artificial Intelligence''

Dr. Rubén Revello, director of the Institute of Bioethics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina (UCA) and advisor to CADEBI, participated on May 21 in the reflection session "10 Years After Laudato Si': From Integral Ecology to Artificial Intelligence," held in Buenos Aires. Organized by the UCA and REDUCOC, the meeting brought together experts to analyze the relevance of the encyclical Laudato Si', addressing the ethical challenges posed by the relationship between human beings, technology, and the environment. In particular, the emerging role of artificial intelligence and its impact on our responsibility to care for our common home were discussed.

Dr. René Zamora Marín participates in a panel celebrating the 30th anniversary of the encyclical Evangelium Vitae

Dr. René Zamora Marín, director of the John Paul II Institute of Bioethics in Havana and advisor to CADEBI, participated as a speaker in the panel "Life is Always a Good: 30 Years of Evangelium Vitae," held at the Monsignor Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Cultural Center. In this joint event with the Center for Advanced Social Research (CISAV) of Mexico and the P. Félix Varela Institute of Ecclesiastical Studies, Dr. Zamora shared profound reflections on the absolute and sacred value of human life.
