Library Directorate
It is responsible for planning, developing and directing the course of the Library in all its fields, to contribute to the achievement of the university’s objectives.
It is also responsible for evaluating the services and their procedures to adapt them to users’ needs and the library's directorate own growth.
It heads the Library Committee, integrated by representatives of all schools and faculties, which serves as an outreach tool for schools and faculties.

Collection Development Coordination
Its objective is to obtain the essential bibliographic and periodical material to contribute to the good performance of teaching, research and culture outreach, establishing contact with publishers, suppliers and donors.

Information Organization Coordination
This area is responsible for cataloging, classifying and updating the databases of books, dissertations or theses, and videos that enter the collection.
It uses the Classification System of the Washington Library of Congress (L.C.).
