Collections Development Coordination
Its objective is to obtain the bibliographic and periodical material necessary for the proper performance of teaching, research and cultural outreach activities, establishing contact with publishers, suppliers and donors.

Information Management Coordination
This area is responsible for cataloging, classifying and updating the databases, theses and videos that enter the collection. It uses the Classification System of the Washington's Congress Library (L.C.).

Development Coordination
It is responsible for designing, coordinating and managing the Information Skills Development programs for the university community in the use of electronic information resources and other academic and research management tools.

ALMA System Administration
Responsible for the management of the ALMA Integral Library System, and responds to the requirements of the Collection Development, Information Organization and Public Services areas, for the optimal performance of each area's tasks.
