The online Master in Global Bioethics offers an outstanding global perspective of bioethics, taught by international experts with a high academic rigor. The program is for those professionals in the health sciences, philosophy, law, or any other discipline, who wish to acquire and apply the knowledge of Bioethics.
The Master in Global Bioethics is a co-sponsored program in collaboration with: Holy Spirit College, Atlanta; Ateneo Regina Apostolorum; and the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics and Human Rights, Rome.
Will train future professors, health care professionals, biomedical researchers, social and political agents with high academic knowledge and skills in bioethics. It will provide an integral formation in the field of global bioethics allowing participants to develop their professional activities, both in the private and public sphere, with social responsibility and grounded in a person-center approach.
The Duration of the Master: is a flexible distance learning program, entirely online, for working professionals. The completion of the Master in Global Bioethics typically involves 2 years of coursework.

Maria Ines Girault
Coordinator of the Online Master's Degree in Global Bioethics in English.
Dr. Girault is a Medical Surgeon from the Universidad Anáhuac México. She subsequently studied a master’s degree in Family Sciences from the Juan Pablo II Institute, Mexico. She participated in the Foundation of the John Paul II Institute for the family and was actively on the board for 10 years.
She is a founding member of Casa Yoliguani IAP, a crisis pregnancy center, where actively worked for 15 years. She became a certified as an instructor of the Billings Ovulation Method, by the WOOB (World Organization of the Billings Method). She participated in the study of the effectiveness of the Billings Method in China 1988-1990. She has studies in Bioethics, certificate in Marriage and Family. She is the author of the book “Infertility: When a door Closes, a Window Opens”, 2000.
Since 2017 she coordinates the online Master of Global Bioethics in English. This master's degree has 88 students who come from 30 different countries. The doctor provides personalized attention to each student. She supports its development and encourages students to promote bioethics in their places of origin. She supported the creation of the first of its kind African Bioethics Association. Dra. Girault lives in Atlanta with her husband, six children and one grandchild.
