The Anáhuac University Network celebrates the international recognition for Dr. Blanca Cervantes, a professor at Anáhuac University Puebla, at the 2025 Pinacoteca de la Ciencia exhibition , organized by the Spanish Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM). Her image, titled "Rat Vestibular Neuroepithelium," was selected as part of the 2025 Best Scientific Image competition, becoming the only Mexican proposal included in this edition. The image stands out for showing the distribution of ASIC1 channels in vestibular afferent fibers.
In addition to being part of the official exhibition at the SEBBM Annual Congress, the image will be published in the society's 2025 institutional calendar. This represents not only recognition of Dr. Cervantes's technical and aesthetic work, but also a boost to the international visibility of Mexican scientific research.
