Objective: This study aims to investigate the neuroprotective effects of cannabidiol (CBD) on neurodevelopmental impairments in rats subjected to neonatal hypoxia, specifically examining its potential to mitigate motor and sensory deficits without the confounding effects of ischemia.

Background and purpose: Gastrointestinal tumours overexpress voltage-gated calcium (CaV3) channels (CaV3.1, 3.2 and 3.3). CaV3 channels regulate cell growth and apoptosis colorectal cancer. Gossypol, a polyphenolic aldehyde found in the cotton plant, has anti-tumour properties and inhibits CaV3 currents. A systematic study was performed on gossypol blocking mechanism on CaV3 channels and its potential anticancer effects in colon cancer cells, which express CaV3 isoforms.

Este ensayo presenta «El partido arquitectónico… bordado», un ejercicio realizado durante el otoño de 2023 en el Taller Max Cetto de la Facultad de Arquitectura de la UNAM (fa) para profundizar en el entendimiento de lo que es el partido arquitectónico de un proyecto, y para explorar el bordado como técnica para representar y narrar la arquitectura. Además de exponer el contexto en el que se desarrolló el ejercicio, el texto expone el proceso, los resultados y las reflexiones posteriores.
