Anahuac Female Graduates: Among the 100 Most Powerful Business Women

The Expansión magazine published a list in which four of our graduates stand out as executive directors in important companies.

In March, the magazine included the article “The 100 Most Powerful Business Women. Resilience of Women Leaders during the Crisis,” in which four of the University graduates stand out.

The text addresses the evolution of gender equality in the economic and work field. The 2021 list included 65 women who are executives, presidents, or CEOs, accounting for 48% more compared to last year, when 45 women held these positions.

It also highlights the importance of role modeling and telling women who are starting their professional life or undergoing key moments that it is possible to achieve high executive positions.

The Anahuac graduates mentioned in this article are:
•    BA Melanie Elizabeth Devlyn Gómez (Business Administration, class of 91), President and CEO of Grupo Devlyn.
•    BA Carla Juan Chelala (Graphic Design, class of 92), General Director of Marketing and Digital Strategy of Grupo Financiero Banorte.
•    MS Karla Verónica Siqueiros Rojo (Master in Economics and Government, class of 04), National Chamber of Beer and Malta CEO.
•    Dr. Claudia Ileana Ávila Connelly (PhD in Strategic Management and Development Policies, class of 10), Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks (AMPIP) CEO.

We recognize the role of those professionals and social leaders who serve as an inspiration to promote female talent in Mexico, and especially our graduates for their professionalism and leadership.
