Anahuac Mexico University is ready for the 2024 Minería International Book Fair

The FILPM is celebrating its 45th edition and our University will be present with its editorial catalog at one of the most traditional events to promote books and reading in Mexico City.

Anahuac Mexico University will participate in the oldest book and cultural event in the country: the International Book Fair of the Palacio de Minería (FILPM). The 45th edition will feature 1,076 activities, with the presence of 300 publishers and 777 book presentations, 21 round tables, 39 readings and recitals, and 71 workshops. Sinaloa will be the guest state for 12 days of programming from February 22 to March 4, 2024.

At the Palacio de Minería, located in front of Plaza Manuel Tolsá in the historic center of Mexico City, our Institution, through the Research Department and with the collaboration of the Publications Editor, Ms. Adriana Sánchez Escalante, will participate with a program of cultural activities, including book presentations and a meeting among young people. 

The presentations include:

• Un mar de encuentros. El Caribe: arte, sociedad y cultura (siglos XV-XVII), February 28, at 3:00 pm. Edited by Alfredo Bueno Jiménez and Manuel Gámez Casado. Co-edited with Universidad Complutense de Madrid and El Colegio de Michoacán.
• Derecho procesal de la seguridad social, February 28, at 5:00 pm. Written by Verónica Lidia Martínez Martínez. Co-edited with Thomson Reuters. 
• Gestión y diseño, una visión estratégica que genera valor, February 29, at 5:00 pm. Coordinated by María del Carmen Razo Aguilar. 
• Dinámica de sistemas, March 1, at 2:00 pm. Written by Javier Pulido Cejudo. Co-edited with Alfaomega.
• Mi casa es tu casa. El fenómeno de la plataforma Airbnb visto desde la economía colaborativa, March 1, at 3:00 pm. Written by Varenka González Albín and Mariano Alberto Lechuga Besné. Co-edited with Porrúa.
Conference:
• "Más CienciA" by young people and for young people, February 29, at 3:00 pm. Directed by Dr. María Elena Sánchez Vergara, with the participation of students Ingrid Sofía Rincón von Pastor, María José Canseco Juárez, Miriam Cherem Sitton and Ricardo Ángel Llorente Vázquez.
 

Conference:

“Más CienciA” by young people and for young people, February 29, at 3:00 pm. Directed by Dr. María Elena Sánchez Vergara, with the participation of students Ingrid Sofía Rincón von Pastor, María José Canseco Juárez, Miriam Cherem Sitton and Ricardo Ángel Llorente Vázquez.

Anahuac Mexico University will present its new publications and exhibit its catalog at one of the fairs with the longest cultural tradition in Mexico City. We look forward to seeing you at booths 1432 and 1433 at 2024 FIL Minería.
