Anáhuac reaffirms its commitment to research with social impact on an international level
Our university played a prominent role in the third Regnum Christi International University (RIU) Researchers' Conference, with a total of 62 of our researchers giving 35 presentations.
From May 27 to 29, 2026, Anáhuac Mayab University hosted the third Regnum Christi International University Network (RIU) Researchers' Conference. The conference included preliminary activities such as the RIU Research Directors’ Meeting, where research leaders from the network’s universities in Mexico, Italy, Chile, the United States and Spain shared progress, generated synergies and defined key aspects of the international research strategy with a clear humanistic and ethical focus.
Highlights of the program included Elsevier’s inaugural lecture on research intelligence and innovation at international universities, simultaneous working sessions, a seminar on the PURE platform and opportunities for inter-institutional collaboration. The agenda also included discussions on significant contemporary topics, such as AI-driven research, the role of bioethics in RIU research and research for social and economic development.

Anáhuac Mexico University’s participation was particularly noteworthy due to the quality of its research and the high-level collaborative discussions stemming from its long-standing involvement in the RIU. Our institution was represented by 62 researchers, who delivered a total of 35 presentations during the simultaneous sessions, which covered the following five thematic areas: Integral health and well-being; Economics, business and development; The individual and society; Humanities, arts and creative disciplines; and Exact sciences and technology. We also had a significant presence on three of the keynote panels.
It is worth noting that Anáhuac México hosted the first RIU International Researchers’ Conference in May 2022, attended by all full-time faculty members, along with visiting scholars, making up an audience of more than 250 participants. The conference established a model of academic collaboration that continues to grow stronger with each successive conference.
At the second RIU International Researchers’ Conference, held in 2024 at Francisco de Vitoria University, our university also played a significant role through presentations and participation in keynote panels. This reaffirmed our institutional commitment to linking universities, promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and generating new knowledge on highly relevant topics.

Through its participation in and leadership of the third RIU International Researchers’ Conference, Anáhuac Mexico University reaffirms its commitment to research that seeks to understand the complexity of the present, generate knowledge and provide alternative solutions to the challenges we face as a society, from an interdisciplinary and collaborative perspective. This research is characterized by high academic value and excellence.
