Generación Anáhuac Magazine celebrates 20 years of Anáhuac Querétaro University

The new issue dedicates its cover to the institution’s two decades of history and features stories from alumni, reflections on current issues and content of interest, which strengthen the sense of belonging to the Anáhuac University Network.

Issue 204 of Generación Anáhuac celebrates 20 years of the Anáhuac Querétaro University, a history constructed through the hard work and participation of students, alumni, faculty, staff and parents.

As the magazine of the Anáhuac University Network, Generación Anáhuac has established itself as a forum for connecting with our alumni community through stories, achievements, experiences and events that reflect the Network’s identity, values and diversity.

In this new issue, the Querétaro university takes center stage with the special cover story “Do you want to dream with me? 20 years of leading the way,” which traces the institution’s development from its earliest days to the present.

In his editorial letter, Luis E. Alverde Montemayor, rector of Anáhuac Querétaro, recalls the campus’s beginnings in 2006, when the project got underway at the Instituto Cumbres facilities with 162 students, six bachelor’s degree programs and a team that shared the goal of building a close-knit, human and committed university community.

Reflecting on the journey so far, Professor Alverde Montemayor also emphasizes the value of belonging to the Anáhuac University Network, a community that shares the mission and conviction that education can transform individuals and, through them, society.

In the context of this anniversary, this institution has experienced significant growth and currently has more than 8,000 alumni, more than 9,000 undergraduate students, 34 programs and 15 postgraduate programs, in addition to PhD programs.

For the rector, this vision of the future is summed up in one of the central ideas of his message: “The best of Anáhuac Querétaro, the best of the Anáhuac Network, is yet to come”.

In addition to this anniversary special, Issue 204 of Generación Anáhuac features varied content addressing current events, education, leadership and university life.

These include reflections on the transition from physical video games to the digital format, the ethical challenges associated with technological progress and artificial intelligence, as well as content on business, education, family, health and reflection.

The issue also features content on culture, entertainment and lifestyle, covering topics such as cinema, literature, gastronomy and electric mobility, to provide a broad insight into the concerns and interests of the Anáhuac community.

This issue of Generación Anáhuac invites readers to learn about, reflect on and celebrate the 20th anniversary of this campus, while also recognizing the stories of the people who give meaning to the Network and who continue to share their education, leadership and vocation with various sectors of society.
