The latest issue of the Logros magazine features the key achievements, awards, activities and projects that strengthened Anáhuac Mexico University’s academic excellence and social commitment during the first semester of 2026.

In this new issue of Logros magazine, we highlight the results, progress, innovations and triumphs that defined our actions and activities, as well as the commitment and leadership that tirelessly drives the entire Anáhuac México community.

During the first semester of 2026, one of the most significant moments for our university was the opening of the Tlalpan Campus, a new center for continuing education and integral health services dedicated to the common good, as our rector, Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García, L.C., affirmed when he presided over the opening ceremony.

The new complex, strategically located in the hospital district in southern Mexico City, combines cutting-edge academic programs with community outreach by providing services in nutrition, dental health, physical therapy and rehabilitation, as well as psychological care through the Anáhuac Cenyeliztli Clinic.

As part of the same effort to consolidate academic excellence, the Anáhuac LABS Opening Day Tour took place at the North Campus. This was a highly important preliminary event that brought together academic leaders, business partners, graduates, faculty and students in anticipation of the upcoming inauguration of this pioneering technological innovation cluster in Mexico.

In terms of accredited and recognized academic excellence, 232 graduates from both campuses were honored for their high academic achievement as part of the Ceneval Award for Excellence in Performance (EGEL) and 37 programs were included in the EGEL Plus Registry: Programs of High Academic Achievement 2023-2025. Additionally, more than 800 students graduated, 69 of whom were honored with special recognition for their outstanding performance, perseverance and discipline.

Likewise, students and academics from our School of Design excelled at the National Design Award: Diseña México 2025, presented by Diseña México and the Certification Council for Innovation and Design, A.C., winning 22 awards in the fields of design and innovation.

Another of the most noteworthy recognitions this semester was the awarding of an honorary doctorate honoris causa to our rector by the Universidad Hebraica, in recognition of “his intellectual work, his pastoral vocation and his defense of Christian humanism, which have made him one of the most influential voices on issues of identity, family and social ethics.”

Meanwhile, as part of its commitment to the country’s development, the ninth edition of the Anáhuac Business Forum was held, serving as a platform for dialogue and strategic partnerships between academia and the business sector. Additionally, the Anáhuac Job Fair took place at the South Campus, with the support of more than 40 companies and over 600 attendees.

In the same vein, Anáhuac Mexico University received the ESR® (Socially Responsible Company) seal of distinction for the fifteenth consecutive year from the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi), in recognition of its ethical, sustainable and socially responsible management.

In the field of research, one of the most notable achievements was the patent obtained by the School of Engineering for the development of semiconductor materials, based on research conducted by our academic, Dr. María Elena Sánchez Vergara.

Just like every semester, this series of achievements reaffirms our institutional commitment to educating leaders of integrity who have a sense of humanity and demonstrate proactive leadership to address global challenges from an ethical and socially conscious perspective.
