International rankings recognize the academic excellence of Anáhuac Mexico University

The results of the 2027 QS World University Rankings, the 2026 QS by Subject Rankings and the 2026 Times Higher Education Rankings place Anáhuac Mexico University among the top private universities in the country, ranking it in first place in Mexico and one of the top 50 in the world for Hospitality & Leisure Management.

The results of the 2027 QS World University Rankings, the 2026 QS by Subject Rankings and the 2026 Times Higher Education World University Rankings reflect the strengthening of the university’s academic quality, research, internationalization and employability, as well as the recognition of its outstanding academic programs.

Best university in Mexico for tourism

One of the most notable results is in the 2026 QS by Subject rankings, where Anáhuac Mexico University ranks as the top university in Mexico and in the world’s Top 50 for Hospitality & Leisure Management, consolidating its position as a national and international point of reference for training professionals for the tourism and hospitality sector. This recognition strengthens the institution’s leadership in one of the industries with the greatest economic impact and global reach.

The QS by Subject analysis also confirms the growth of the university’s international presence by expanding the number of recognized disciplines. In the most recent edition, the Anáhuac University went from having two ranked disciplines in 2025 to three in 2026, adding Arts & Design to Hospitality & Leisure Management and Business & Management Studies, thereby expanding its presence in an increasingly competitive academic environment.

In addition, it moved up one place in Arts & Humanities and one place in Social Sciences & Management, while Business & Management Studies maintained its ranking despite the increase in the number of institutions evaluated.
