TEDx Anáhuac University 2025: Voices that inspire authenticity

More than 15 speakers shared ideas and experiences, with a highlight being the participation of Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García, L.C., with a reflection on identity, purpose and personal coherence.
On April 3, 2025, the Rectory Auditorium on the South Campus of Anáhuac Mexico University was the venue for TEDx Anáhuac University 2025, an event that brought together leaders, creators, students and professionals from different fields. The day was divided into thematic blocks, offering the audience a series of talks with a human, professional and social focus.
One of the most eagerly awaited moments was the speech by Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García, L.C., rector of Anáhuac Mexico University. His talk was entitled “Are you letting yourself be carried away?” and he posed some crucial questions: Do we live according to our own values or according to what social networks and other people's expectations dictate? Are we consistent with ourselves or do we prefer to fit in, even if that means silencing our essence?
Dr. Sánchez García spoke about social pressure, the culture of like, trends and how the fear of being "canceled" makes us give in to political correctness. He invited the audience to "listen with silence," to look within, and to act ethically, even when it is easy to go with the flow. Using a phrase from Viktor Frankl, he emphasized that emptiness is not caused by circumstances but by a lack of purpose. His message, more than a criticism, was an invitation: to stop being just another copy and become an authentic version.

The event also featured the participation of other prominent speakers divided into four blocks:
Block 1
• Roger González, actor and radio and TV presenter
• Valeria Bolaños, Vértice Sur student
• Edgar González, CEO of Cassava Roots
• Mariana Carrillo, entrepreneur and co-founder of Vuos Time Café, participant in Shark Tank
Block 2
• Andrés Budnik, CEO of Vision Entertainment
• Gerardo Ferraez, CEO of Ecopulse
• Marco Antonio Pérez, advisor on international development cooperation

Block 4
• Alexis Ortiz, Strategy Manager at Publicis Group
• Fernanda Guarro, President and General Manager of 3M Mexico
• Mariel González, marketing manager at Wizeline

TEDx Anáhuac University 2025 was not only a space to share achievements but also a call to introspection. From different perspectives, each talk addressed the desire to transcend, live with meaning, and build a life based on conviction, not appearances.
More than an event, it was a reminder that living with purpose is not a trend, it is a choice.
