We celebrate the merits of 244 students honored with the Ceneval Award

In 2025, a total of 469 students were recognized for their outstanding results.

Anáhuac Mexico University sets a precedent in the history of our institution with an outstanding number of students who were awarded the Ceneval Award for their academic excellence. In 2025, 469 students received this award.

In the first semester of the year, 244 students from the university received the award on November 24.

Since 2011, the National Center for Higher Education Assessment (Ceneval) has awarded the Ceneval Award for Excellence in Performance-EGEL to students and graduates who achieve outstanding results in both the disciplinary and cross-sectional sections of the General Exams for Bachelor's Degree Graduation (EGEL) for the January–June 2025 period.

The ceremony for the presentation of the Ceneval Award for Excellence in Performance-EGEL was held at the Telmex Auditorium in Zapopan, Guadalajara, in coordination with the University of Guadalajara on November 24, 2025. Those attending the ceremony: award winners, family members, educational authorities and representatives from different higher education institutions in the country showed their pride in the perseverance, effort and merit of educational excellence.

Accompanied by various officials and special guests, Dr. Carmen Enedina Rodríguez Armenta, general director of Ceneval, addressed the award winners, saying:

"You are the great hope for Mexico and the world. Let your talent reach further," and encouraged them to believe in their excellence and dedicate themselves to serving others.

Some interesting facts about the EGEL. 

Since 2011, 2,240,000 graduates have taken these exams. On this occasion, 6,544 examinees obtained this distinction, representing 2.5% of the population, a percentage made up of students from Anáhuac Mexico University.

The distribution of the Ceneval Award for Excellence in Performance-EGEL by area was: Life and Behavioral Sciences 45.6%, Social Sciences and Humanities 39.6% and Design, Engineering and Architecture 14.7%.

Anáhuac Mexico University recognizes and congratulates the effort and daily work of students, teachers, coordinators, administrators and parents to produce leaders of positive action with a solid integral education in their classrooms and in the professional field.
