Inauguration of the Anahuac Senior Management Institute (IADA)

Anahuac Mexico University marks a milestone in its trajectory with the launch of the Anahuac Senior Management Institute, a pioneering space for professional training, high-impact mentoring and interdisciplinary development.

In an unprecedented event, Anahuac Mexico University announced the launch of the Anahuac Senior Management Institute (IADA), consolidating its commitment to the comprehensive training of business leaders. The inaugural event, held on November 16, 2023, witnessed the presentation of this innovative space that stands as a benchmark in executive education.

IADA is recognized for its focus on professional training, high-impact mentoring, and interdisciplinary development. The event's program included highlights, such as the Institutional Development team welcoming guests at 7:00 p.m., followed by a welcome message from Edgar González Olea, director of the School of Economics and Business.

Other important moments included the presentation of the Institute by Jorge Miguel Fabre Mendoza, Director of the IADA, and the outstanding participation of Rise Michael Koenig, Director of Executive Education at Rice Business, as well as a message from the Rector, Dr. Cipriano Sánchez García, L.C., culminating with the start of the dinner at 8:00 pm.

The inauguration of this campus not only represents a cutting-edge initiative in executive education but also establishes a strategic collaboration with Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business. This alliance positions the Institute as a national and international point of reference, taking advantage of the experience and prestige of one of the leading universities in the United States.

Distinguished guests such as Sunita Dharani, Coordinator of Marketing and Communication, and Nico Motta, representative of the Rice University Alumni Society, were present during the presentation and mingled with authorities and directors of our Anahuac Mexico University.

The Anahuac Senior Management Institute is not only a learning space but also a community of entrepreneurs committed to mutual development. It features a new mentoring program for senior executives designed in collaboration with Vistage, the world's largest and most successful CEO coaching and peer counseling organization.

With facilities located in the renovated Postgraduate Studies Center Building, which was built with an investment of 195 million pesos, IADA offers world-class technology to meet the demands of executives and entrepreneurs.

The university's commitment to academic excellence is reflected in its collaboration with leading institutions and consulting firms such as Deloitte, Julius Bär, the School of the Mexican Stock Exchange, the National Association of Independent Professional Business Advisors, and the national firms CDC, AMCG Tantum, and Mentor Praxis. The case method, which is widely used in the programs of both institutions, reinforces academic excellence.

Finally, Dr. Cipriano Sanchez, L.C., recalled Pope Francis' statement on the responsibility of knowledge and higher education as a mandate to contribute to a more just and developed society, which resonates deeply with the philosophy of Anahuac University.

"Throughout its 60 years, the Institution's graduates have consistently stood out among Mexico's top entrepreneurs and executives, representing between 15 and 20% of the country's most influential leaders. These fundamental principles inspire the proposal of the Anahuac Senior Management Institute, which seeks to offer a space for training and updating business leaders in the region, guided by the values of solidarity, participation and a focus on people and the common good," he added.
