Financial Aid - Scholarships and Educational Credits

The Anahuac University supports and recognizes the effort put by those students with a remarkable academic performance who find it hard to cover tuition fees, providing them with the opportunity to obtain scholarships and/or education credits (both scholarships and education credits can cover up to 80 percent of your tuition fees) following these requirements:

  1. Carry out the admission process and be admitted by the Anahuac University.
  2. Check the deadline to request a scholarship at the Pre-College Student Support office.
  3. Hand out the following documentation at the Scholarships Department:
  • Fill out, print and sign your scholarship request and attach a 2.5x3cm photo 
  • High School transcript with a minimum GPA of 8.5 *
  • Legal guardian's proof of income.
  • Student motivation letter addressed to the Scholarships Committee.
  • • Pay the socio-economic study fee (demonstrates your financial need): Cancun $ 910.00 MXN, Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen: $ 1,050.00 MXN.

* Re-entry students: GPA of the current semester will be considered.

  1. Carry out the admission process and be admitted to the Anahuac University.
  2. Consult in Pre-University Care the deadline to request a scholarship.
  3. Submit the following documentation to the Scholarship Coordination:
    • Fill out, print and sign scholarship application, include a child-size photo.  
    • Proof of grades with a minimum GPA of 8.0 overall in high school. *
    • Proof of income of the guardian.
    • Letter from the student explaining the reasons for the application, addressed to the Scholarship Committee.
    • Sporty curriculum.
    • Socioeconomic study fee: Cancun: $ 910.00, Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen: $ 1,050.00
  4. Interview with the Sports Coordinator and sports assessment.

* Re-entry students: the final average of the current semester is considered.

  1. Carry out the admission process and be admitted to the Anahuac University.
  2. Consult in Pre-University Care the deadline to request a scholarship.
  3. Submit the following documentation to the Scholarship Coordination:
    • Fill out, print and sign scholarship application, include a child-size photo.  
    • Proof of grades with a minimum GPA of 8.0 overall in high school. *
    • Proof of income of the guardian.
    • Letter from the student explaining the reasons for the application, addressed to the Scholarship Committee.
    • Artistic-cultural curriculum.
    • Socioeconomic study fee: Cancun: $ 910.00, Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen: $ 1,050.00
  4. Interview with the Culture Coordinator.

* Re-entry students: the final average of the current semester is considered.

  1. Carry out the admission process and be admitted to the Anahuac University.
  2. Consult in Pre-University Care the deadline to request an educational credit.
  3. Submit the following documentation to the Scholarship Coordination:
    • Fill out, print, and sign an educational credit application, including a child-size photo.  
    • Proof of grades with a minimum GPA of 8.0 overall in high school. *
    • Proof of income of the guardian.
    • Letter from the student explaining the reasons for the application, addressed to the Scholarship Committee.
    • Socioeconomic study fee: Cancun: $ 910.00, Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen: $ 1,050.00
  4. Once the educational credit is authorized, check with the Scholarship Coordination for the process to follow.

* Re-entry students: the final average of the current semester is considered.

The educational credit works as follows: the assigned percentage of educational credit will go to a debit account and the student must sign promissory notes at the end of each semester that will prove their future payment. Once the student completes the degree, the total debt must be covered in a period of 6 months (as a grace) plus the time he enjoyed it as a limit (interest of 2.5% semester applies on the total debt generated up to that moment) .
