Description and Focus
The Doctor as a Humanist Journal is an international academic project whose aim is to establish itself as a means of developing and disseminating scientific, humanistic and ethical knowledge.

To offer an institutional means of academic-humanistic divulgation allowing clinicians, academics and students to collaborate at an international basis.
Methodology
AEditorial Board
Manuscripts should be sent to Dr. David Cerdio Domínguez (david.cerdio@anahuac.mx), editorial coordinator of the “The Doctor as a Humanist Journal”.
Then (if the manuscript complies with all the established requirements established in the authors guide) the manuscript will be sent to the Editorial Board, who will carry out a double-blind review of the presented articles. The corresponding author will be notified via e-mail as to whether the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
** The fact that a manuscript has been presented does not mean that it has been accepted for publication.
** The publications reflect the opinion of the author(s), without any relation to the vision of the Faculty of Bioethics or Health Sciences at Anáhuac University, México.
BManuscript types
a. Short communications: The following format has been designed to accommodate short observations that are not long enough to be research articles but nevertheless have involved more exhaustive research than an innovation article. An abstract of no more than 100 words should be included. The article should be divided into the following sections: Background, Activity, Results, Discussion and References (minimum 15, Vancouver style, current, maximum 5 years old). A short communication article should not exceed 5,300 words
** Graphs, tables and images not included.
b. Monographs / Research articles: They are manuscripts on a topic of general interest. This category includes descriptive articles. Each monograph should include an abstract of not more than 100 words. With a total length of 5,300-7,000 words. It should be divided into the following sections: Introduction, Background, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion and References (minimum 20, Vancouver style, current, maximum 5 years old).
** Can include a maximum of 1 table or graph.

- Ethics Committee (if applicable)

** In case not applicable for article type, write (Not applicable).
